The decision of the variety-mix influences the key-factors. With the portfolio analysis of market share and rise of market price of the top-ten varieties we distinguish four groups. For every group there is a different strategy. With value-benefit analysis whom production figures are joined by the evaluation of favoured variety attribute, we have evaluate which variety achieve the requirements of the producer. From both analyses Golden Delicious, Gala and Braeburn are the apple varieties with the best results.
